Juliano and Lia Scherba’s story is one of vision, perseverance, and faith. Originally from Brazil, the couple came to the United States determined to build something meaningful—not only for themselves, but for their family and community. What began as a shared dream evolved into JL Home Projects, a full-service design and construction company rooted in integrity, quality, and trust.
From Humble Beginnings to Luxury Craftsmanship
Built from the ground up, JL Home Projects has grown into a multi-faceted enterprise with over 1,000 completed projects, a 20,000 sq ft custom millwork factory, and a 7,000 sq ft showroom in Boca Raton. Representing world-class Italian brands like B&B Italia, Maxalto, and De Padova, the showroom is a curated reflection of Juliano and Lia’s taste for timeless design and excellence in execution.

Our journey to the American Dream was anything but easy. With humble beginnings, countless challenges, and unshakable faith, we built our future brick by brick—driven by vision, grit, and a deep belief in something greater.
In 2005, we took a bold step by opening our first design-build showroom in Broward County. Fueled by passion and a relentless pursuit of excellence, we expanded into Boca Raton in 2010—ultimately designing and building a state-of-the-art, 7,000 sq ft designer showroom in East Boca, filled with world-class brands and premium finishes.
Today, with over two decades of experience and more than 1,000 completed projects, we serve South Florida’s most discerning clients with high-end design, construction, and custom millwork. Our greatest reward? The ability to employ dozens of families, impact hundreds more, and create extraordinary homes—while staying grounded in gratitude and grace.
We’re forever thankful for our two beautiful daughters, Zoe and Lisa, our incredible team, loyal clients, and the life we’ve built together. The dream is alive—and the best is still to come.
